tell me that i'm not in the blue oh that i'm not wastin' my feelings on you
And yes, after back and rib and ankle and what-have-you problems, I have, officially, completed the qiviut/merino/silk laceweight hat. and a top view. Details are on Ravelry but I loosely used (and greatly modified) a free Rav download pattern (which had some errors, hence the mods, and the designer told me there were no errors, which, huh? the math didn't add up at all, but whatevs), size 0 (or 00?) needles. One ball of Windy Hill Luxury Blend, with is 45% quiviut, 45% merino, and 10% silk, color natural. I have about 10 or so yards leftover of the ball, which irritates me because now I know I could have added another 1/2" to the length.
At least finishing this has gotten me back my knitting mojo.

Gasp! Sigh. Coo.
It's lovely. If you ever feel like getting rid of your 10 yards of leftovers, send them to me so I can just stroke it all way.
Ooh, shiny and nice. And I bet it's hella warm too!
Qiviut.
Nom.
Great hat... it looks so soft. *swoon* I picked up a ball of Windy Valley Majestic Blend (80% merino, 15% qiviut, and 5% silk ) at Stitches last weekend. I'm thinking I need to make a cowl out of it. It should keep me nice and warm in the archives.
