and she's across the finish line!

Guess what, everyone?
Yes! I finished Trixie's scarf, just in time for her birthday. A warm cashmere scarf, given in the middle of July in Atlanta.

Works for me.

What am I working on now?
Winding this glorious lace weight merino I bought at Maryland Sheep and Orgy. Two hours, and I am only this far.
Oh well, I shall persevere. Someday, maybe, I'll get to cast on again...

Great scarf! When you do get it all wound, you will figure out something to cast on with it.

Welcome back, dude.

Clearly, you need a ball winder. Come visit me and I'll let you use mine. (Why yes, I ~do~ have almost every toy in the book apart from a niddy-noddy. Thank you for noticing.)
