the problem of leisure what to do for pleasure

I finished My So-Called Scarf almost two weeks ago.
This shows the true color, while this very pink image shows the stitch off.
This was for Project Spectrum. I have tons more red and pink things about the house to pick up, such as some great pink sock yarn, the Rockstar scarf that's half done, and the silk camisole. I finished the other sock (look last week to see - the second one looks exactly the same and the stripes match up and everything) and now I'm looking for what to do next. Thoughts?

I was really hurt yesterday by someone at work, and I don't know if I have the heart to do this anymore. If anything, the comments made just make me feel more worthless and less able to say anything anymore.

The scarf looks gorgeous. It's a great color for you.

I'm sorry to hear things are so shitty at work. No one should be made to feel worthless. Often people say hurtful things to cover for their own insecurities.

Just know you do have friends who care and don't think you're worthless or incompetent.

I loooove that stitch pattern. I will have to make one for myself.

And as I said yesterday, they're a bunch of shitheads. I, and a lot of other people, think you're wonderful, and it's OUR opinions that count.

I'm stilling willing to come over and beat them up for you.

*hugs*

Oh,your scarf is FABU! And the color is perfect for you. I keep trying to use that pattern, but it seems every yarn/needle pattern I pick makes it too thick. You have given me the courage to keep trying! And a pox on the rat that made you feel bad. I'll add another virtual kick in the ass.

We should all form a mob and hunt down the big-mouthed loser with pitchforks and torches.

I need to give my version of My so-called scarf a second try... maybe go up a needle size. Performing the stitch made my hands hurt.

Ladies, I saw this scarf in person and it is very lovely. The color is so rich and vibrant.

*don't you love my limited comments as I know nothing about the technical side of knitting and can only talk about color, texture and feel?*

Does this low self-esteem and worthlessness thing run in the family? In the 30 something females maybe? lol

Don't you let these people get you down. I don't care what that person at work said to you. You just remember that your cousin and your crazy little second cousins love you and think you are the best!

I agree that the scarf is lovely and the color looks great on you.
